About Me
I was born in 1982 in Seven Mile, Ohio, to a family rooted throughout the 40th District. I graduated from Edgewood High School in 2001 and attended Miami University. I met my wife in 2012, and we married in 2015. I’ve worked in the aerospace and defense industry for the last 18 years, where I have gained valuable experience in teamwork, accountability, and long-term strategic thinking.
My passion for community service began with local outreach through Gracepoint Church of the Nazarene, where I volunteered for two years prior to entering public service. That commitment to helping others led me to run for Trenton City Council, where I’ve proudly served since 2012. During that time, I also held positions on the Parks Board through 2024, including a term as a chairman in 2022.
In addition to Council service, I was honored to be selected as Trenton’s Vice Mayor through 2024 before assuming the role of Mayor, a position I currently hold. Over the years, I have contributed to various boards and committees that focus on improving quality of life, supporting families, and ensuring that our local government remains accessible and responsive.
My mission has always been to lead with integrity, listen with purpose, and deliver real results for our community.
Priorities
I’m committed to defending our values, strengthening local government, and ensuring that state policy is shaped by the people it affects most, and that is you.
Protect Freedoms & Family Values: I will work to preserve personal freedoms and uphold the family-centered values that define the 40th District.
Uphold the Constitution: I believe in the clear, original principles of the U.S. and Ohio Constitutions. I will oppose government overreach and support legislation that reinforces the rights and responsibilities enshrined in our founding documents.
Fiscally Responsible Governance: The more government takes from you, the less freedom you have. I believe in fiscally responsible state government that respects taxpayers and protects your individual liberty. By limiting what’s taken out of your pocket, we strengthen your ability to make choices for yourself and your family.
Community-Guided Leadership: I don’t believe politicians always know best—but the people do. I will regularly solicit input from residents, professionals, and stakeholders with real-world experience to help guide legislation at the Statehouse.
Restore Trust in Public Office: Integrity matters. I’m committed to being honest, transparent, and morally grounded—not just in policy, but in example. Elected officials should earn your trust and inspire the next generation.
